Terms & conditions
SIA "Print Plus", reg. no. 41503049787, VAT no. LV41503049787, legal address Īslīces iela 5–29, Rīga, LV-1058 (further — “Print Plus”) provides the services and goods described on printplus.lv.
1. General
By placing an order on printplus.lv the Buyer agrees to these Terms. The Buyer confirms they have read the Privacy policy. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Latvia.
2. Prices
All prices are shown in EUR incl. VAT 21%; net amounts are shown in the price table and in the cart. The listed “from” price is the unit price for the smallest quantity shown. For larger quantities the price per piece decreases automatically (see the quantity tiers on the product page). The final amount is confirmed in the offer.
3. Ordering
The Buyer selects products, a quantity and submits the order form (or writes to info@printplus.lv). An order is binding for Print Plus only after Print Plus confirms it by e-mail together with a final quotation. Branding print files (artwork) are agreed separately.
4. Payment
Print Plus issues an invoice for every order. Payment is made by bank transfer on prepayment terms or under a framework contract. Goods are produced after the invoice is settled or the contract terms provide otherwise.
5. Delivery
Estimated delivery time: 5–7 business days after payment is received, subject to availability at the supplier’s warehouse. The exact lead time is confirmed for every order when the quotation is prepared. The order goes into production after the invoice is settled; for orders with printing we additionally confirm the artwork. The delivery method and the delivery cost are agreed for every order, taking the order volume and weight into account; pickup at our production unit, Dzelzceļu iela 22/24, Daugavpils, is available without prior arrangement.
6. Right of withdrawal and return of goods
6.1. How to withdraw (consumers)
A consumer (a natural person) may withdraw from the purchase within 14 days from the day the goods are received by notifying us of their decision. Send the notice to info@printplus.lv or submit it using the withdrawal form on this website. Please include the order number, your name, e-mail address, the date and the goods concerned.
After the notice, the goods must be handed over or sent to us within 14 days. Return address: Dzelzceļu iela 22/24, Daugavpils, LV-5401, quoting the order number.
On receipt of your withdrawal notice the purchase contract ends. We must refund the amount you have paid within 14 days from the day we receive your withdrawal notice. We also refund the delivery costs if you chose delivery as arranged by us. We are, however, entitled to withhold the refund until we have received the goods or evidence of their dispatch — this is a right provided by law, so that the goods are indeed returned. No interest is payable during that period and the refund deadline does not expire.
6.2. Your rights after returning the goods
You are entitled to inspect the goods in the same way you would be able to inspect them in a shop. Handling that goes beyond such inspection, and any action that affects the value of the goods (for example damage, traces of use, damage to the packaging), may reduce the amount to be refunded. You are responsible for such a reduction if you caused it after the goods were delivered to you and if you did not inspect them as you would in a shop. For goods sold in their original packaging, damage to the packaging does not in itself reduce the value of the goods.
If you return goods that have not been personalised (see 6.4) and whose value has not been reduced, we refund the full amount you paid, including the delivery costs. If the value has been reduced, we refund the amount corresponding to the value of the goods after return.
Return costs. You bear the direct costs of returning the goods (the postal fee) and the delivery costs, if you chose a delivery method other than the cheapest standard method we offer, provided we informed you of this before the contract was concluded. Where we have offered to take the goods back (for example, large and non-standard constructions), we arrange the return and Print Plus bears these costs — you do not pay them. In such cases please contact us before returning, so that we can agree the method and timing.
6.3. Where to return the goods
Goods may be returned by post or handed over in person at our production facility (see contact details). If you return by post, keep the original packaging and all delivery documents. If you return in person, please notify us in advance so that we can prepare.
How return costs are determined. The costs are the fee set by the postal operator or carrier for the specific shipment and its size (weight and dimensions). Goods that cannot be returned by post because of their size or weight (for example, large constructions, stands, posters, banners) are returned through Print Plus: you hand such goods over in person at our production facility or we arrange transport, and Print Plus bears these costs. In these cases please contact us before returning — we will agree a suitable method and timing.
6.4. Personalised goods (no right of withdrawal)
The right of withdrawal does not apply to goods manufactured according to the Buyer's artwork or other specifications requested by the Buyer, where the item is genuinely personalised — that is, where it is made to the Buyer's submitted artwork or to a specification that cannot be produced from a standard catalogue item (for example, custom printing with the Buyer's logo or graphic, engraving with the Buyer's text or number, or an item made to a size, colour or configuration specification of the Buyer that is not in our catalogue). Such goods cannot be returned to stock and cannot be returned in the condition in which they were delivered.
This exception does not apply in the following cases:
- A choice from the standard catalogue. If you choose a size, colour or configuration that is in our standard catalogue, this is not treated as personalisation and the right of withdrawal applies to that item. The same applies to a colour or size chosen from the variants we offer.
- Defects and guarantee. If a personalised item has defects that existed before or at the time it was handed over to you, you keep the right to bring a claim under section 6.5. Personalisation does not exclude the guarantee rights.
6.5. Defective goods (guarantee and claims)
If the goods have defects that existed before or at the time they were handed over to the consumer, the consumer may bring a claim within 2 years from the day the goods were handed over. A claim for goods that do not comply with the contract must be submitted within two months of the day you discover the non-conformity. Send the claim to info@printplus.lv, attaching the order number, a description of the goods and, if possible, photographs. We reply within 15 days.
How a claim is handled. If the claim is accepted, Print Plus first remedies the defect free of charge (by repair) or replaces the goods free of charge with goods that comply with the contract. You may request a price reduction, or the cancellation of the contract and a refund, only where remedying the defect or replacing the goods is impossible or disproportionate — in that case the choice is yours. We remedy the defect within a reasonable time and free of charge, including the necessary work and material costs.
A claim is not a withdrawal from the purchase: the guarantee rights and the right of withdrawal are two separate rights, and a notice of withdrawal does not remove the guarantee rights if a defect is found.
6.6. Legal entities
This section applies to consumers (natural persons) only. The consumer right of withdrawal does not apply to legal entities (a company, a sole trader etc.); the return procedure for legal entities is agreed individually — in the order, the contract or the quotation. If a legal entity wishes to withdraw, we consider each case individually.
7. Data
The Buyer’s contact data is processed to fulfil the order — see the Privacy policy.
8. Disputes
Disputes are resolved by negotiation; failing that, in the courts of the Republic of Latvia. Consumers may also turn to the Consumer Rights Protection Centre (PTAC) or use the EU consumer dispute resolution platform consumer-redress.ec.europa.eu.
