Privacy policy
This policy explains how SIA "Print Plus", reg. no. 41503049787 (further — “Print Plus”), as a data controller, processes personal data on printplus.lv. Contact on data matters: info@printplus.lv.
1. What data we process
Order data: name, e-mail, phone, contents of the order (products, quantity, comment), legal-entity registration/VAT numbers when the Buyer identifies as a business. Communication data: e-mail correspondence about the order or a claim.
2. Why (legal basis)
To conclude and fulfil the purchase contract and issue invoices — Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. To comply with accounting and tax obligations — Art. 6(1)(c). To answer inquiries, claims and protect our legitimate interests — Art. 6(1)(f).
3. Retention
We keep your contact details and the contents of the order for as long as needed to fulfil the order and to handle any claim. Order, invoice and accounting records are kept for 5 years from the last accounting entry, as required by accounting and tax law. If you ask us to delete your data, we delete it unless we are obliged to keep it — in particular, accounting and tax records, which the law requires us to retain. This also applies to data included in invoices, which must be retained for the same period.
4. Recipients
Data is disclosed only to providers strictly necessary for the service: our hosting/server provider (EU — the server is located in Finland), our e-mail infrastructure and the addresses of our own mailboxes that handle order and delivery notices, our own cookieless web analytics service (webspectra.net), the delivery service (Omniva parcel locker / courier) when a delivery is arranged, and the accounting service. The web font is served from our own server, so no font provider receives your IP address. We do not sell or share data for marketing.
5. Cookies, local storage and analytics
Cookies. The public pages of the site do not set any cookies. A cookie is set only in the administration area, where it is required for the login session; it is marked as secure, inaccessible to scripts and limited to our own site.
Local storage (your browser). The shopping cart and the values you enter in the order form are kept in your browser’s local storage, so that the cart survives a page reload and the form is not cleared when you switch between Latvian and English. This data stays in your browser, is not sent to us automatically, and is removed when you clear the browser storage. If you agree to analytics, the analytics tool also keeps a short event queue in local storage until the events are sent. No advertising cookies are used.
Analytics. We count visits with our own analytics tool (webspectra.net, operated by us on our own server). The tool is downloaded and started only after you agree: until you make a choice, no analytics code is loaded and no visit data is collected. If you decline, it is never loaded. You can change your choice at any time via the “Change cookie choice” link in the footer; if you had consented and then decline, the analytics tool is removed and event sending stops, including in the current session. You can change your decision at any time using the link "Change cookie choice" in the footer. If your browser sends the Do Not Track signal or Global Privacy Control, the analytics code is not loaded and we do not ask you at all. The tool records the page path, the referring domain, the screen size, campaign parameters, scroll depth and time on the page, and a hashed, shortened form of the IP address and browser signature, together with a session identifier. These values are pseudonymous: they are stored with our server-side key, so they cannot be linked back to you by us without additional information, and they are not passed to third parties and are not used for advertising. The data is used only to count visits and see which pages are used, and is deleted within 14 months.
Fonts. The typeface is served from our own server, so the font provider receives no information about you and your IP address is not disclosed outside the European Union.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and port your data, and to object to processing. Write to info@printplus.lv — we respond within one month. You may also complain to the State Data Inspectorate (dvi.gov.lv) or to the supervisory authority in the country where you live. Contact details: info@printplus.lv.
7. Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Order data is stored on EU-located servers (Finland) as JSON files outside the public web folder; access is limited to Print Plus staff and the hosting administrator. You may request deletion of your data at any time — see section 3.
